Layers is meant to show the essence of oneself. Each layer represents a role that you may play. On one layer, you may be a musician, a teacher, a student... On another layer, you may be a son, a daughter, a significant other, a parent... But as you start peeling away each layer, you'll eventually get to the core. Your core self influences every layer. If you normally strive to improve, you would normally want to improve in each layer. If you have temper issues, that probably shows in each layer. No matter how many layers you have, there will be a commonality behind them all.

This project started in 2012 and was finished in 2014. This project was intended for me to learn to embrace myself during a time of self doubt. Hopefully in this project, you can peel away the layers of instrumentation and listen to the essence of the project
